Hellboy 2: The Golden Army was the finest summer film of 2008 right after WALL-E. I really enjoyed it much more than the first one (bought the three disc DVDs too). Either way, it was a beautiful looking film and did everything right you are supposed to do in an action monster movie. Ron Perlman puts on another great Hellboy performance even though just about everything he says is throwaway. But such is the style of Mike Mignola's comic. Beat stuff up and say a cool line. Oh, and Abe Sapien is my favorite character now in the Hellboy universe.
